This course intended to help you take your knowledge of the theory of Company Law Act and associated principles to a new level. We have created an environment in which you gain experience and exposure corporate law practice, where you are able to translate theory to practical skills through experiential learning.
This course is not intended as a comprehensive manual for Drafting Corporate documents online. But it is rather intended as a starting point to help our learners develop a practical skills in the application of the corporate law principles. A place where you can begin to build your confidence and capacity to continue the learning journey in your own context and practice.

Short Course Outline (Modules)
Formation of a new Company:
- Module 1 - Notice of Incorporation.
- Module 2 - Appointment of Initial Directors.
- Module 3 - Choosing a Company Name and reservation.
- Module 4 - Appointment of initial auditors, company secretary etc.
- Module 5 - o Choosing Public Officers etc. for initial in the MOI.
Effecting changes to a Company’s MOI:
- Module 1 - Alteration, Consolidation.
- Module 2 - change of name.
- Module 3 - Resignation, removal and appointment of new directors.
- Module 4 - Conversions of close corporations to companies.
- Module 5 - Substituting Memorandum and Articles of Association with MOI in Companies formed before 2011.
- Module 6 - Change of appointed auditor’s company secretary etc..
- Module 7 - Changing Public Officer; Registered Office; Year End and Location of Records.
- Module 8 - Changes to the Share Capital.
